Job Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Technical Trainer specialized in Instrumentation to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas sector, combined with practical training experience. This role involves delivering high-quality instructional programs and assessments to enhance the skills of industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering effective training sessions both in the classroom and workshop settings. You will create detailed lesson plans and pacing schedules to ensure a smooth learning experience tailored to diverse student needs. The role requires adapting teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.

Additional duties include managing training resources such as equipment, tools, and consumables to support instructional delivery. The trainer will conduct competency-based assessments, maintain accurate training records, and continuously evaluate trainee performance to improve course effectiveness. Staying current with technical advancements and regulatory standards is essential to provide a safe and up-to-date training environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a training role, preferably within instrumentation.
• At least 5 years of hands-on industrial experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with competence-based assessment methods such as NVQ.
• Familiarity with awarding body assessments and quality standards.
• Desirable certifications include A1, V1, D32, or D33.
• Previous work experience in the Middle East is considered an advantage.
