Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MEP BIM Coordinator with expertise in plumbing to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating BIM workflows, resolving clashes, and managing plumbing models to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves leading BIM coordination efforts specifically for plumbing systems across multiple projects. Tasks include managing and reviewing BIM models up to LOD 400, performing clash detection using advanced BIM software, and ensuring the accurate incorporation of COBie parameters and asset information. You will collaborate closely with teams handling HVAC, electrical, firefighting, and civil disciplines to maintain alignment and quality. Additionally, reviewing and approving shop drawings and coordinated models forms part of the daily activities. Supporting BIM execution plans and upholding project standards regarding model quality and data integrity are key to success in this position.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should have 6 to 8 years of comprehensive BIM experience with a deep focus on plumbing systems within MEP projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and hands-on experience using Navisworks for clash detection and management is critical. Strong knowledge of LOD 400 modeling standards and familiarity with BIM data management and COBie protocols will be essential to excel. Experience working on GCC or Saudi Arabian projects is highly preferred. An educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline through a diploma or degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-related workflows will give candidates an advantage. The ideal individual will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams while managing deadlines efficiently.
