Samsung C&T Corporation is seeking a seasoned Procurement Administrator to support the Dukhan Solar PV Project in Qatar. This role offers an excellent opportunity for procurement professionals with experience in the construction sector who thrive in dynamic project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vendor research and handle negotiations to secure the best procurement terms.
• Manage purchase orders efficiently to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Coordinate office activities including travel arrangements such as flights and hotel bookings.
• Oversee vehicle fleet operations, ensuring maintenance schedules are adhered to and routes are efficiently planned.
• Supervise drivers and enforce safety compliance throughout transportation processes.
• Match invoices accurately against received deliveries and maintain thorough procurement documentation.
• Implement cost control initiatives to optimize transportation and procurement expenses.
• Maintain inventory control to support uninterrupted project progress.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience in procurement administration within the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions to manage data effectively.
• Strong organizational skills paired with high attention to detail.
• Proactive communication ability and a hands-on approach to task management.
• Legally authorized to work in Qatar, with preference for candidates holding a transferable Qatar ID.
