Job Overview

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a skilled Electronic and Instrumentation Technician to join our team in Dukhan, Qatar. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting electronic and instrumentation systems within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with PLC, SCADA/DCS, and various field instruments, and is familiar with industry-standard systems such as Yokogawa, Emerson, or Honeywell.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electronic and instrumentation equipment.
• Work effectively with automation systems, including PLC, SCADA, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed during daily operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA/DCS platforms, and field instrumentation.
• Familiarity with systems such as Yokogawa, Emerson, or Honeywell.
• Mandatory safety certifications including ePTW, LOTO, and H2S.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and calibration skills.

Work Environment

This position is based in Dukhan, Qatar, and requires immediate availability. The role involves hands-on fieldwork in oil and gas facilities, demanding adherence to strict safety standards and collaborative teamwork in a dynamic industrial setting.
