Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Unitary and Applied QC Quality Inspector to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in quality control within the construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors. The role involves ensuring high standards of inspection for materials, components, and workmanship, particularly in unitary systems and applied installations.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Inspector will oversee the inspection process throughout various project phases. This includes conducting site inspections, verifying materials and components, and inspecting welding, fabrication, and installation work. The role also requires preparing detailed inspection reports, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years’ experience in a QC inspection role
• Proficiency in unitary inspection covering materials and components
• Experience with applied inspections such as welding, fabrication, and installation
• Strong working knowledge of QA/QC processes and documentation management
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately
• Familiarity with international standards including ASTM, ISO, and ASME
• Competence in site inspections, material quality checks, and final project handovers
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with various stakeholders

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. Preferred certifications include CSWIP for welding inspection, NDT Level II in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), or Penetrant Testing (PT). Awareness of ISO 9001 standards is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary of 20 SAR per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Engagement will be based on project requirements, with a focus on delivering high-quality inspection services throughout the project life cycle.
