Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to oversee Facilities Management services in Qatar. This leadership role involves managing both hard and soft FM services, driving operational efficiency and ensuring strict compliance with safety standards. The successful candidate will report directly to senior management and be responsible for implementing cost-saving strategies while maintaining high service quality.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes leading comprehensive FM services such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), Building Management Systems (BMS), security, housekeeping, elevators, and firefighting. You will coordinate with various service providers, conduct regular audits, maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and manage asset registers. Budget oversight and continuous improvement initiatives are critical to this position, ensuring operations run smoothly and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in operations and facilities management.
- Proven leadership skills with strong expertise in asset management and FM systems.
- Deep understanding of compliance, safety regulations, and cost management.
- Legally eligible to work in Qatar, with transferable Qatari ID (QID) preferred.
