Senior MEP Engineer (Electromechanical Engineer)
🎯 Job Purpose:

To lead the design, coordination, and supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense regulations, and engineering consultancy standards from design stage through project execution.

📌 Key Responsibilities:
⚙️ MEP Design & Engineering:
Lead design of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems.
Lead design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low current systems.
Prepare and develop MEP tender drawings (Mechanical, Electrical & Firefighting systems).
Perform engineering calculations including:
HVAC load calculations
Water supply and drainage calculations
Electrical load calculations
Lighting design calculations
Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code and international standards.
Review and coordinate multidisciplinary MEP drawings.
🔥 Fire Fighting & Civil Defense:
Design fire protection systems (sprinklers, fire alarm, fire pumps, hydrants).
Ensure full compliance with Saudi Civil Defense requirements.
Prepare fire safety drawings and technical submissions for approval.
Coordinate with authorities for design approvals and inspections.
🏗️ Site Supervision:
Supervise installation of MEP systems at project sites.
Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
Ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
Resolve technical issues during construction.
Coordinate with architectural and structural teams.
Monitor quality of installation and site execution.
🤝 Coordination & Consultancy Role:
Coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Firefighting systems.
Participate in technical meetings and design reviews.
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and clients.
Provide technical support during tendering and bidding stages.
Supervise and guide junior engineers.
📌 Requirements:
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering (هندسة إلكتروميكانيكا)
7–10+ years of experience in engineering consultancy firms.
Strong experience in MEP design and supervision.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
Experience in MEP tender drawings preparation.
Strong engineering calculation skills (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting).
Knowledge of Saudi Civil Defense and municipality regulations.
Familiarity with Saudi Building Code and international standards.
Strong leadership and coordination skills.
