Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Engineer to oversee projects from the initial concept stage through to successful completion. This role involves managing project deliverables while ensuring all technical standards and customer requirements are met with precision.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Engineer will be responsible for consulting with engineering teams to develop and update technical documentation related to systems and equipment. A crucial part of this role includes analyzing engineering drawings to produce accurate technical documentation, preparing construction technical plans, and developing method statements and procedures pertinent to construction and technical aspects of the project.

In addition, the engineer will coordinate approvals of drawings and specifications, liaising with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate smooth technical meetings and ensure timely approvals. Maintaining accurate records of project communications, documentation, and related technical data is also essential.

Required Skills and Competencies

Applicants should hold a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and have a background in glass and aluminum. Experience in design, technical submissions, and drafting is needed, along with a strong understanding of construction systems, assemblies, and products. Familiarity with British and international standards applicable to the UAE market is required, as is the ability to interpret complex project specifications.

Effective communication skills are important for engaging with clients and participating actively in meetings. A valid UAE driver’s license is mandatory for this position.
