Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant IT Manager to oversee the daily management and support of IT systems throughout the hotel, including business operations, office infrastructure, computer networks, and telephony services. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless technology delivery to enhance both guest experiences and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the IT Department to maintain exceptional operational standards by providing consistent and reliable support for all hotel IT systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring minimal downtime of internal IT systems and addressing technical issues promptly
• Managing and supervising IT staff to meet departmental goals
• Maintaining deep product knowledge to fully leverage technology benefits
• Adhering strictly to IT governance and security regulations
• Resolving IT-related incidents efficiently to minimize impact on business operations
• Assessing current technologies and anticipating future system requirements with practical solutions
• Fostering strong collaborative relationships across hotel departments to support diverse IT needs

Required Skills and Experience

Successful candidates will demonstrate a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, including:

• Proven experience in IT management, ideally within the hospitality, leisure, or service industries
• Proficiency with Microsoft systems and familiarization with hospitality software such as Fidelio and Micros is preferred
• Strong organizational capabilities paired with excellent communication skills
• Up-to-date technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and business applications
• Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and develop contingency measures
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on developing both personal and team skills
• Attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude towards challenges
