Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer for a one-time office network setup project based in Jeddah. This role involves configuring critical network infrastructure for a small office environment supporting 13 users. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Sophos firewall, VLANs, Hyper-V networking, and managing small office network installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy two Domain Controllers using Dell R630 and R220 servers.
• Design and implement VLAN segmentation for servers, users, WiFi, guest access, CCTV, and voice traffic.
• Set up and configure Sophos firewall to secure network traffic.
• Manage core and room switches to ensure seamless network performance.
• Install and configure three WiFi access points to provide reliable wireless coverage.
• Integrate VoIP phones (Grandstream) into the network and ensure proper connectivity.
• Isolate CCTV network traffic for four cameras to enhance security.
• Implement Hyper-V network integration for Huawei servers.
• Design and implement a backup solution to NAS for crucial data protection.

Required Skills

• Proven experience working with Sophos firewall configuration and management.
• Strong knowledge of VLAN creation and switch configuration in a small office setup.
• Hands-on expertise in managing Hyper-V network environments.
• Experience deploying networks involving VoIP technology and CCTV isolation.
• Ability to design and implement backup strategies aligned with office requirements.

Work Environment

This project supports a small office size of 13 users. The servers and firewall hardware are already available on-site. The candidate will take charge of network design, setup, and testing to ensure a smooth transition and fully functional office network.
