Job Overview

We are seeking a Low Current System Pre-Sales Engineer to join our engineering team and support project bidding and implementation. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and design cost-effective, efficient solutions for various low current systems. This role involves preparing technical proposals, coordinating with suppliers, and providing ongoing technical assistance during project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties include reviewing client requirement documents and clarifying needs to ensure complete understanding. You will design light-current systems such as fire alarms, telephone systems, CCTV, access control, public address, network infrastructure (UTP/Fiber), MATV, and home automation solutions that align with customer specifications and budget.

Additionally, prepare detailed technical proposal documents incorporating solution designs, statements of work, and product datasheets in line with tender instructions. Creating shop drawings, single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and technical submittals will be part of your role.

You will also develop technical compliance sheets based on consultant specifications, compile pricing sheets, and financial proposals including Bills of Quantities. Identifying suitable suppliers and technologies for client-specific requirements and acquiring quotations and technical data for proposals is essential.

Post-award, coordinate with appointed consultants and prepare necessary materials and shop drawings. Offer technical support to implementation teams, addressing any questions regarding solution design and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and proposing low current system solutions
• Strong understanding of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, telephony, public address, and network infrastructure systems
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings, schematics, and compliance documents
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
• Familiarity with preparing commercial proposals and cost estimation

This position offers a competitive fixed salary of 4,000 SAR supplemented with attractive commission incentives, reflecting performance and project success.
