Dar Al Handasah Nazih Taleb & Partners (Dar Taleb), a renowned architecture and engineering consultancy, is seeking a qualified Civil Inspector to join their team for projects in Abu Dhabi. This role involves on-site supervision and inspection within building and infrastructure construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil Inspector will be responsible for supervising construction activities, verifying adherence to engineering drawings, codes, and municipal regulations, and supporting the quality assurance and control processes. Duties include reviewing inspection requests, preparing detailed site inspection reports, and collaborating closely with project engineers and contractors to maintain high standards throughout project execution.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate must hold a diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field and bring a minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction supervision, specifically within the UAE market. Familiarity with UAE municipal standards, international codes such as BS and ACI, and quality management procedures is essential. Experience handling Inspection Requests, Work Inspection Requests, and site reporting is also required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in building and infrastructure project inspection
• Strong knowledge of UAE municipal regulations and international codes (BS, ACI)
• Proficiency in QA/QC procedures and preparation of site inspection documentation
