Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our project team in Khobar. This role involves handling the engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems while adhering to project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting IFC drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets. You will supervise the installation of various field instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analyzers. Coordination with electrical, mechanical, and process teams during the execution phase is essential. Additional duties include performing loop checks, calibration, FAT/SAT support, and commissioning activities.

Ensuring compliance with project specifications, IEC/ISA standards, and safety regulations is crucial. You will prepare technical reports, method statements, and as-built documentation, while also resolving technical issues in coordination with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers
• Transferable IQAMA status
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in industrial instrumentation projects
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, control panels, and PLC/DCS interfaces
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, RC, and SEC standards is preferred
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Power Plants, or Water Treatment projects
• Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage
