Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BI Project Manager to join our team in Doha. This role involves managing multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring their success from initiation through to closure. Reporting to the Regional Director in Qatar and collaborating closely with the Head of PMO in the UAE, the position requires strong leadership within a specialized Business Intelligence consultancy environment focused on fixed-price projects across the Gulf region.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle by following established Clariba PM methodologies. Responsibilities include reviewing and finalizing Statements of Work, supporting smooth transitions from sales to project execution, and maintaining strong relationships with clients—particularly at the executive level. The role demands rigorous tracking of project progress, handling risks, managing finances, and ensuring resource allocation aligns with objectives. Additionally, oversight of direct reports, contractors, and cross-regional team members is expected to deliver results efficiently.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in computing, engineering, business, IT, or related fields. A minimum of five years’ project management experience in the GCC region within consulting firms is essential, especially managing complex, fixed-price IT projects. Familiarity with enterprise-scale system implementation, software licensing, and high-level solution architecture is key. Strong communication skills in English, cultural adaptability, and collaboration with technical teams are critical for success in this multicultural setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a technical consultant or developer in digital transformation or analytics is advantageous. Candidates pursuing PMP certification or holding Agile and ScrumMaster credentials are preferred. Business analysis expertise and fluency in Arabic will enhance candidacy, though not mandatory.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity based in Doha, Qatar, with an expectation of mostly on-site work. Some flexibility for hybrid arrangements may be possible depending on the project. Occasional travel within the GCC region will be required to support project needs and client engagement.
