Job Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable IT Specialist based in Bahrain who can start immediately. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the organization’s IT systems, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of all IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Specialist will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network components. Monitoring system performance and addressing issues promptly is essential to this role. Providing technical assistance to users both onsite and remotely will be a daily task, alongside managing user accounts, access permissions, and security protocols. The role also involves ensuring data security through regular backups and disaster recovery planning, maintaining servers and cloud services, and collaborating with vendors for equipment and service procurement. Proper documentation of IT procedures and keeping system records up to date are also critical duties. Staying informed about the latest technology trends and industry best practices is expected.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline. Demonstrated experience as an IT Specialist or in IT support roles is essential, with strong skills in networking, systems administration, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Microsoft 365, is required. A solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals is important. Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills are necessary to effectively support the team and users. Candidates must currently reside in Bahrain and be available to start immediately.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft-related credentials will be considered a strong advantage. Experience working within the Bahrain or broader GCC market is highly valued. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure will further enhance a candidate’s suitability. Proficiency in Arabic is an additional plus that can benefit communication within the organization.
