Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in retail banking to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of relevant experience, focusing on administrative and systems procedures analysis within the banking sector. This role involves collaborating closely with IT and business units to enhance operational efficiency and support system development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document retail banking processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Work closely with IT teams to support system development and implementation based on business needs.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate requirements gathering.
• Provide insights into wholesale and retail banking operations and suggest process enhancements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking systems and industry trends to support business objectives.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Comprehensive understanding of retail banking operations and technology systems.
• Familiarity with both retail and wholesale banking domains.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess administrative and system procedures.
• Proficient in IT services, systems development, and standard office applications including MS Office.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in retail banking with exposure to system and administrative procedures analysis.
• Demonstrated knowledge of banking functionalities and technical aspects related to retail operations.

Work Conditions

The position requires immediate availability, with the expectation that the candidate can join within one month. The role is based in Qatar and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic banking environment.
