Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Coating Supervisor to lead surface preparation and coating operations at an industrial site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing all painting activities to protect assets against corrosion while ensuring adherence to NACE and SSPC standards. The ideal candidate will manage teams on-site, monitor environmental factors, and supervise the proper application of coating systems according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Coating Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Managing daily blasting and painting operations on-site to meet project timelines and budgets
• Conducting thorough quality inspections including checking surface cleanliness, temperature, and dew point conditions
• Supervising the correct mixing and application of epoxy, polyurethane, and other coating systems
• Ensuring proper use and maintenance of coating equipment
• Strictly enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations including personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and COSHH compliance

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Professional certification such as NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 or BGAS Grade 1 is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and a variety of coating materials
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate site crews
• 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial project environments or at least 3 years in manufacturing settings
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
