Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a petrochemical and industrial plant project located in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in scheduling and project control within large-scale industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. This includes preparing baseline, recovery, and revised schedules to ensure timely project execution. The candidate will monitor project progress closely and generate regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Essential tasks also involve performing delay analyses, identifying critical path activities, and coordinating effectively with construction, engineering, and procurement teams. Additionally, the role requires preparing short-term lookahead plans (three to four weeks) to support efficient project workflows along with integrating project controls and cost management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in planning and scheduling within the construction or petrochemical sectors.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for delay analysis and critical path identification.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across multiple departments.
