Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer specializing in Linux and Kubernetes to join our team based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Linux environments, with a strong focus on container orchestration platforms, helping to drive innovation and maintain high-availability infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing Linux-based systems across various distributions such as RedHat, CentOS, and Debian. They will take a lead role in implementing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters alongside Docker containerization. The role also involves managing virtualization platforms like KVM and VMWare, as well as handling SAN storage concepts to ensure efficient data management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Linux Administrator, preferably working with CentOS and RedHat systems.
• Strong command of Linux operating systems including RedHat, CentOS, Debian, and other flavors.
• Proficient with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience managing virtualization environments through KVM or VMWare and understanding SAN storage solutions.
• Expert scripting skills in Shell, Perl, and/or Python for automation and system management.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible is a plus.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols including DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP.

Educational Background

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is required to qualify for this position.
