Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our carpentry workshop team in Bahrain. We have openings for Finishing Carpenters, Wood Painters, and a Civil Engineer to support various construction and woodwork projects. Candidates must currently be based in Bahrain and possess the relevant qualifications and hands-on experience as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities

Finishing Carpenter:

• Expertly craft wood furniture pieces including wardrobes, tables, doors, kitchen cabinets, and pergolas.
• Operate wood cutting machines and hand tools with precision and safety.
• Ensure high-quality finishing and fitment standards for all carpentry work.

Wood Painter/Polisher:

• Apply paint, stains, and polishes to wooden furniture items.
• Mix paint colors accurately and perform spray polishing techniques.
• Maintain consistent finishes that meet project specifications.

Civil Engineer:

• Design and oversee interior structural elements in construction projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD or Revit for drafting and modeling.
• Perform structural analysis and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Required Skills and Experience

Finishing Carpenter: Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in wood furniture carpentry, including wardrobes and kitchen fittings. Familiarity with wood cutting machinery is essential. Good command of English is required.

Wood Painter/Polisher: At least 3 to 4 years of practical experience applying paint and polish to wooden furniture. Skill in color mixing and spray techniques is necessary.

Civil Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience focused on interior structural design and construction projects.

Salary and Negotiation

• Finishing Carpenter: Starting salary from BHD 140, negotiable based on experience.
• Wood Painter/Polisher: Starting salary from BHD 120, negotiable based on skills and background.
• Civil Engineer: Starting salary from BHD 350, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
