Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Prestressed Engineer to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and supervising post-tensioning systems for various structural elements including slabs and beams. This role involves ensuring quality and compliance with international standards throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review post-tensioning (PT) systems for slabs, beams, and other structural components
• Prepare and evaluate shop drawings, tendon profiles, and stressing layouts
• Oversee on-site PT installation, stressing, and grouting activities to ensure precision and adherence to project requirements
• Monitor elongation measurements and verify compliance with design specifications
• Collaborate closely with consultants, structural engineers, and site personnel to coordinate project execution
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, international standards, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures
• Conduct inspections of materials including tendons, anchors, and ducts, ensuring all test reports are accurate and meet necessary standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• At least 7 years of proven experience with prestressed and post-tensioning works
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, or their equivalents
• Hands-on experience working on high-rise buildings or hotel construction projects
• Good understanding of American Concrete Institute (ACI) and British Standards (BS)
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
