Job Overview

We are urgently hiring a skilled Project Engineer specializing in Food Service Equipment (FSE) and Maintenance to lead commercial kitchen projects in Bahrain. This role involves managing all aspects of project delivery from technical design to installation for commercial kitchens in hospitality, healthcare, and centralized food production facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle for food service equipment installation, ensuring timely and quality execution.
• Develop technical drawings, layouts, and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for equipment.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, architects, and clients to confirm design and technical specifications.
• Coordinate procurement and logistics with suppliers and contractors to maintain project schedules.
• Monitor budgets, track project progress, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local health, fire, and safety standards throughout all project phases.
• Conduct site inspections, manage punch lists, and prepare handover documentation.
• Provide expert technical support during tendering and procurement processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and support teams to enhance project delivery capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 8 years of practical experience managing food service equipment projects in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawing and design.
• Proven ability to handle end-to-end project execution including design, BOQ preparation, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Excellent project management skills and expertise in site supervision.
• Effective communication skills with a track record of successfully coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience within GCC countries is mandatory.
• Familiarity with international kitchen equipment brands such as Hobart, Rational, and Electrolux.
• Professional certifications like PMP or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working on projects for hospitality chains, food and beverage outlets, hospitals, or central kitchens.
