Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist to manage and enhance the flow of goods, information, and resources throughout the supply chain. This position plays a critical role in procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution, helping to meet the organization’s operational and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for planning and overseeing supply chain operations, including logistics, procurement, and inventory control. Coordinating closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors is essential to maintaining smooth processes. Monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking will be key duties.

This role also involves analyzing demand forecasts, adjusting supply plans accordingly, and optimizing transportation and distribution methods to increase efficiency. Tracking shipments and resolving any delays or logistical challenges efficiently is part of the daily responsibilities. Additionally, the specialist must ensure all processes comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

Using ERP systems such as SAP ERP or Oracle SCM Cloud for accurate data management and preparing detailed performance and cost reports are critical tasks in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Deep understanding of logistics, procurement, and inventory management
  • Proficiency in Excel and supply chain management software
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications like APICS CSCP or CPIM are highly valued
  • Experience using demand planning and forecasting tools
  • Knowledge of international shipping procedures and customs regulations

Performance Indicators

Success in this role will be measured through key performance indicators such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, order accuracy, and the ability to reduce costs while improving supply chain efficiency.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based but requires regular collaboration with warehouse and logistics teams. Occasional travel may be needed to visit suppliers or distribution centers to ensure seamless operations.
