Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves providing technical support and ensuring smooth IT operations across corporate offices and a high-tech medical laboratory environment. Candidates with Mandarin language skills will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Support Engineer will manage and troubleshoot a variety of systems and software to support end-users effectively. Responsibilities include:

• Providing advanced support for Windows and Mac operating systems
• Troubleshooting productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel and Office suite
• Managing user accounts and access through Active Directory
• Supporting email and messaging systems, including Exchange and Outlook
• Handling security software like Kaspersky and BitLocker
• Operating SCCM tools for system management tasks
• Documenting technical issues and resolutions
• Using service management platforms such as JIRA Service Desk or ServiceNow for handling support tickets
• Collaborating directly with end-users to resolve IT-related problems promptly

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS and Mac OS environments
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Intermediate experience in SCCM, Active Directory user management, Exchange/Outlook, Kaspersky, and BitLocker
• Familiarity with IT service management tools like JIRA Service Desk or ServiceNow
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not mandatory
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license

Work Environment

This position is based in Abu Dhabi, providing support within a corporate office setting as well as a cutting-edge medical laboratory. The role requires hands-on interaction with end-users and collaboration with different teams to maintain efficient IT services.
