Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Microsoft BI suite, including Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS. This role focuses on creating insightful dashboards, managing reports, and ensuring data accuracy and security.

Key Responsibilities

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and publishing interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and other BI tools. You will manage report distribution through Power BI service apps, monitor data refreshes, and control security access. Additionally, you will develop and maintain ETL processes, build data models, and provide architectural documentation. Active participation in technical meetings as a subject matter expert is also expected.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years in Business Intelligence development using Microsoft BI technologies.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries, creating views, tables, functions, and stored procedures.
• Expertise in ETL design and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficient in building reports, dashboards, and data cubes using SQL, MDX, DAX, and Power BI.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Ability to document and communicate architectural solutions clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Requirements

• Proven experience publishing and managing reports via Power BI service.
• Hands-on experience in distributing reports through Power BI apps and monitoring their performance.
• Knowledge of data security best practices in BI environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
